Senior Vice President in Skandia Insurance Company Ltd., a global savings company with it’s head quarter in Stockholm Sweden. Danckwardt has been with Skandia for the past 20 years and have been involved in transferring Skandia from a traditional insurance company working primarily with property & casualty insurance, to a focused, global savings company. During this transformation progress Danckwardt has held positions in various companies in Skandia as HR director, head of Business Control, Managing Director and has served as a director of the board in several companies such as Skandia Life in the UK, American Skandia, Skandia Nordic Holding, Skandia Link in Denmark, Skandia Link in Sweden. Danckwardt holds an MBA from the University of Uppsala.

As head of Business Control, Danckwardt incorporated the concept of Intellectual Capital into the planning process. Danckwardt and his team developed the Dolphin Navigator System and he was the founder of the IC Visions Company in 1998.

Today Danckwardt is head of Knowledge Management, a business unit which includes IC Visions, Skandia Future Centre and Skandia Competence.
